My particular focus is tailor-made luxury travel with cultural depth and a spirit of exploration—from journeys inspired by art, history and archaeology to expedition travel.
We begin with you — your interests, travel style, aspirations, curiosities and what you want from this particular journey.
Journey Design brings together a thoughtful discovery process to understand you; in-depth research and journey design; one carefully considered journey direction, with selected alternatives where they add value; up to two rounds of refinement; booking and coordination; pre-departure preparation and support throughout your journey; and personal post-journey follow-up.

Private Group Journey Design is individually quoted according to group size, complexity and scope.
I am selective about the experiences I recommend and the partners I work with. Where possible, I favour those who respect the places they operate in — their landscapes, wildlife, cultures and communities — and those whose presence contributes something positive in return.
I will not arrange experiences involving animal cruelty or exploitation, or travel undertaken primarily for medical procedures.
I favour quality and character over convention: an exceptional hotel when it adds to the journey, or a remote lodge or distinctive local stay when that is where the experience lies. On the water, my focus is on expedition cruising, river journeys, small-ship voyages and distinctive experiences rather than mainstream cruising.
The aim is simple: to travel exceptionally well, thoughtfully, and with respect for the places that make the journey possible.
